Brazil holds consult on gas pipelines – Argus

Brazil’s oil and gas regulator ANP is holding a public consultation on regulation for transporting natural gas by pipeline, aiming to simplify the process of buying space to carry gas.

The public consultation will run for 45 days, starting today and ending on 21 September. ANP will also hold a public audience online on 2 October, from 2-pm, Brasilia time.

How to calculate capacity usage tariffs is among unresolved issues the Brazilian gas sector still faces after the liberalization process.
