Data compiled by BloombergNEF shows increasing competition for power purchase agreements, where businesses lock in supplies from renewable sources in order to reduce emissions. While technology firms such as Meta Platforms Inc. and Amazon.com Inc. remain the largest buyers of corporate PPAs worldwide, the materials sector is taking the lead in more countries.
