During COP28, Valeska Hernandez, Founder of The Visionist Advisers (TVA), delivered a presentation on the role of the Energy Transition in accelerating climate change. Valeska emphasized the importance of speeding up the shift to renewable energy, a topic she has consistently focused on for the past years.  In her presentation, she shared the importance of electric energy, especially highlighting lithium’s role in this change. Her work with Ensorcia Group, a sustainable lithium extraction leader from the United States, underlines her commitment to renewable energy.

On December 4th at COP28 in Dubai, Hernandez spoke at the Future Mobility Hub founded by Sergio De la Vega, CEO of Citizens, a US-based and global sustainable energy solutions company. The day before, the group also inaugurated the Dubai Supercool Mobility Center at the DMCC, the UAE’s largest free-trade zone based in the Jumeirah Lake Towers district.

At the Formula E Event on December 7th, Valeska reaffirmed her commitment to sustainability and renewable energy. Another significant feature during this event was the introduction of BYLD, a new partner of TVA –  focused on sustainable architecture and modular construction, showcasing TVA’s diverse influence in promoting tangible practices aligned with climate action.

At the Global Energy Forum during COP28, hosted by the Washington D.C. based, Atlantic Council, TVA attended crucial discussions shaping the future of energy. This year’s Forum, amidst a rapidly transforming energy landscape, brought together industry leaders, policymakers, thought leaders, and energy experts in Dubai. The Forum emphasized the importance of credible pathways to net-zero emissions, particularly for oil and gas-producing economies. TVA’s presence at this influential event shows its commitment and active role in driving the global energy transition agenda forward.

During 2023, Valeska has also participated as an energy expert in events at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Leaders on Purpose CEO Summit in New York, Climate Week, and other activities during The 78th United Nations General Assembly.
